Unfortunately, we both caught bad colds over Christmas, so it's been very quiet here for the past few weeks. Still, as we finish our second year at The Garway, it's a fitting moment to reflect, thank everyone who has supported us, and look ahead to what the new year might bring.

We have continued with our programme of improvements at the guest house, always trying to see how we can improve both the look of the building and how we manage the accommodation to get the best experience for anyone staying here. Most recently we have had some lovely new chandelier lights installed, had a new bathroom installed in our lower ground floor flat (including redecoration of the whole area), put some rather lovely upcycled furniture in two of our rooms, and rejigged the Dining Room so we can seat more guests at any one time.

We have the support of local companies:DC Electrical Contractor Ltd for the lighting work, Luke and Ellis from Darren Evans Plumbing, and Arron and the team from Fire Protection Group for work and inspection of our fire alarms.

We could not produce our award-winning breakfasts without the support of our local suppliers. Grateful thanks go to John Shambrook butchers in Chelston, Mike from Riverside Eggs, and the staff from The Crusty Loaf bakery.
